Refund Policy:

When Filtered Sound is offering non-tangible service based products, we do not issue refunds once music has been provided at an event.

However, under exceptional circumstances we will consider refunds at our own discretion.
Failure of equipment on the night.
Failure of equipment is limited to the principal sound system on the night when it is provided by Filtered Sound and not a venue or third party provider. Where amplified music is able to be provided by a DJ for the event, the event brief is considered met and fulfilled by Filtered Sound.
Failure of wireless microphones, wired microphones, DJ hardware (where an alternative means of playing music is then provided), lighting or breaking of decor does not warrant a refund.
Satisfaction with the DJ.
Where the DJ has played from the established playlists for the event and where the DJ has played the correct music for the 'significant moments' at the correct time, the event brief is considered met and fulfilled by Filtered Sound.

Provision of music as an arts based service means we do not bear any responsibility for perceived satisfaction for the event when the above conditions to fulfill the brief are met.

Requests for a refund are accepted at djs@filteredsound.com.au within the period of 72 hours after the event. The client should accompany this request with detailed reasons the application is being made.
